Tourism Business Intelligence (T-Stats)

T-Stats provides information on performance for both the serviced and non-serviced sectors including hotels, guesthouses, bed and breakfasts and camping and caravanning sites.  The information is collected from the individual businesses via an online performance tool to capture levels and trends.

What is T-Stats?

T-Stats is an online tourism database, designed to capture, store and process tourism data.

The system provides the ability to collect and analyse a wide range of essential business data to measure the performance of the local tourism industry – including accommodation occupancy, visits to attractions, event attendance, visitor information centre footfall and even the weather!  This data sits alongside information on unemployment, fuel prices and exchange rates and enables us, as a Destination Management Organisation, to better represent the interests of the industry at a local, regional and national.

Why sign up?

  • The system is a quick and easy way to record and monitor essential business data online. The graphs and tables are instantly produced meaning you can visualise what is happening immediately.
  • You are not only getting the ability to monitor your own performance, you will have the ability to benchmark yourself against others within the same sector. (e.g. comparing your occupancy against that of similar properties). It takes your data out of isolation, perfect for those who report into head office based outside of the region.
  • Your data is key to giving your tourism body invaluable insight into the true health of the tourism industry in your area.  By analysing the wide range of data and the trends that are appearing we are able to make more informed decisions and represent the interests of tourism.
  • Independent statistical evidence when seeking funding, bank loans or perhaps looking to sell your property.
  • IT’S FREE!
