Be part of Durham’s national marketing campaign

This autumn, Visit County Durham will launch its latest destination marketing campaign to promote the county as a place to visit this autumn and winter, and a range of marketing opportunities have been developed to enable Partners to be part of, and benefit from, the activity.

The emotive ‘Memorable Moments’ theme will showcase the incredible experiences visitors can have in the county, including history and heritage, the great outdoors, food and drink, family fun and culture. The supporting themes ensure that the campaign can benefit a broad range of Partners.

Target audiences for the campaign are couples and families, and activity will utilise targeted national and regional media channels, including the Manchester Evening News, The Guardian and Time Out, to inspire consumers to visit. Visit County Durham’s marketing tools will also be utilised as part of campaign activity, including a dedicated campaign hub on thisisdurham.com, social media and e-newsletters.

The campaign will run from October 2022 to March 2023.
