The National Coastal Tourism Academy's latest Coastal Tourism Business Survey was live from 21st May to 29th June reflecting performance since the start of 2025.

Forward bookings for the summer were lower than last year and as a result of the government's October '24 budget, 44% have reduced the number of employed staff, 38% are becoming more hands-on and 34% have imposed a recruitment freeze. Some 85% have seen increased costs and as a result 63% plan to raise prices.
